On Saturday 17th July, C.R.E.A.T.I.V. hosted a poetry reading to launch the publication of "small chops: an anthology" in the UK.
Contributing writers, academics and those with an interest in charity and Africa came together in what proved to be an thought provoking and enjoyable afternoon and another fundraising success banking more money for Child Lifeline.

Tuesday 5th January saw C.R.E.A.T.I.V. launch the fruits of its first project; 'small chops: an anthology' in Lagos, Nigeria, with roughly £1,000 being raised through the sale of the book and generous donations.

Whilst in Nigeria, C.R.E.A.T.I.V. were invited to appeal as guests on UniLag Radio to speak about the spirit of entrepreneurship, and what drives C.R.E.A.T.I.V.

On the 18th July 2009, C.R.E.A.T.I.V. held it's first fundraising event; a fashion show showcasing the talents of some young designers utilising the concept of re-use; re-cycle and re-invigorate to design new and exciting garments.
The event was a success, raising just shy of £500.
